The Diocesan Boys’ School Primary Division is a DSS primary school with English as the medium of instruction. We invite applications for the following post which is required for November 2025.

 

MUSIC TEACHING ASSISTANT (MPS: Pt. 4 to Pt. 9)

The applicant of the above post is required to support the Music Department. Main responsibilities include assisting teachers in logistic coordination of music activities, after-school events, lesson preparation, classroom processes, and performing substitution duties. A relevant degree or a teacher certificate will be an advantage.

In view of the implementation of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) scheme and requirement for newly-appointed teachers to pass the Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST), applicants will be required to undergo SCRC and pass the BLNST before confirmation of their appointment.

Diocesan Boys’ School

Established in 1869, Diocesan Boys’ School has continued to foster excellence in the all-round development of our boys in academics, sports and music. Applications are invited for the following full-time position commencing September 2025.

 

Clinical Psychologist

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct psychological services to students, including therapy, crisis intervention, and risk assessment;
  2. Conduct psychological assessments and prepare clinical reports for students with emotional, behavioural, or mental health concerns;
  3. Liaise with staff, parents, and external professionals to coordinate care and ensure integrated support plans;
  4. Lead or participate in case meetings, student reviews, and team discussions;
  5. Deliver staff and parent workshops on child and adolescent mental health topics and effective support strategies;
  6. Maintain accurate records and adhere to professional ethical standards and confidentiality requirements;
  7. Perform other professional duties as required.

Requirements:

  1. A Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from a local university, or equivalent;
  2. Eligibility for membership in the Division of Clinical Psychology in The Hong Kong Psychological Society and/or Hong Kong Institute of Clinical Psychologists;
  3. A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Clinical Psychologist;
  4. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  6. A collaborative and flexible approach to working within a multidisciplinary environment.

 

Educational Psychologist II

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessment for students with learning or adjustment difficulties to identify their learning, emotional, and behavioural needs;
  2. Provide consultation and support to staff and parents to cater for students' diverse educational needs;
  3. Lead or participate in case meetings, student reviews, and team discussions;
  4. Deliver professional learning workshops and sharing activities for staff and parents to enhance understanding and support for students with special educational needs;
  5. Collaborate with school management, guidance team, and external professionals to develop coordinated support plans;
  6. Perform other professional duties as required.

Requirements:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from a local university, or equivalent;
  2. A Master’s degree in Educational Psychology (Professional Practice) from a local university, or equivalent;
  3. Eligibility for membership in the Division of Educational Psychology of the Hong Kong Psychological Society;
  4. A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified Educational Psychologist;
  5. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  7. A collaborative and flexible approach to working within a multidisciplinary environment.

 

Educational Technology Coach

(Primary Division)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Mentor and support teachers in integrating technology effectively across subjects and grade levels, including co-planning and co-teaching lessons where appropriate;
  2. Deliver workshops and training sessions to strengthen digital pedagogy;
  3. Collaborate with IT and academic teams to ensure digital tools and infrastructure meet instructional needs;
  4. Lead and support school-wide digital learning initiatives in line with the school’s strategic plan;
  5. Stay informed on educational technology trends and recommend relevant innovations;
  6. Support students in developing digital literacy, responsible technology use, and creative skills;
  7. Perform other professional duties as required.

Requirements:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Education, or a relevant discipline;
  2. Postgraduate qualification in Educational Technology or Digital Learning is highly desirable;
  3. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in teaching or providing EdTech coaching within a school environment;
  4. Practical experience using key educational platforms such as Google Workspace for Education, Microsoft 365, and/or Apple education tools;
  5. Familiarity with commonly used EdTech tools and applications in primary and/or secondary education;
  6. Strong communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills when working with both staff and students;
  7. Ability to motivate and support colleagues across a spectrum of digital competencies;
  8. A creative, solution-oriented mindset and a proactive attitude toward enhancing teaching and learning practices.

Supply Teacher

 

Requirements: i) Holder of recognised degree in relevant discipline with PGDE and relevant training preferred; ii) Passing the Basic Law and National Security Test required by the EDB; iii) Teaching experience in an EMI school is preferred; iv) Candidates without teaching experience will be considered.
