Introduction
The English Language curriculum in DBSPD aims to help students become independent lifelong learners, creative thinkers and problem solvers who can communicate effectively in English. To achieve this, many curricular and co-curricular activities are organized for students to use English in a variety of situations and contexts. Students are encouraged to read widely, learn how to analyse and evaluate language and the media, and respond creatively to problems by adopting new approaches. The English Curriculum also has a focus on Values Education, Life-wide Learning and Life Planning Education to allow the students time to reflect on their interests and abilities as we prepare them for the future.
