Objectives
The Computer Studies school-based curriculum is designed to equip students with the IT skills and knowledge required in the fast-changing information Age. The aims are as follows:
- To develop students’ interest and confidence in using IT as a life-long learning tool.
- To use common computer software/programmes for word-processing (English & Chinese input, Word), calculation (Excel) and image-processing (Paint), etc.
- To help students develop self-learning skills through the use of computer networks/ internet searching/ IT tools.
- To protect oneself and develop ethical instincts while using the internet, school intranet system and other online platforms.
